A *C-Bet (short for Continuation Bet) made when the pre-flop raiser is the first one to bet on the flop. For example, if the button raises pre-flop and the big blind calls, the button will have the option to make continuation bet (cbet for short) on the flop if the button checks. If they do so, the same will be the case once again on the turn.
