Bitdefender sometimes flags Jurojin as a threat even though it's completely safe — you can verify this yourself on VirusTotal. Below are the steps our support team recommends trying first, followed by more detailed fixes for specific error messages.
Quick Fix — Try This First
1. Mark Jurojin as a Legitimate App
Bitdefender has an official process to resolve false positives. Follow their guide to mark Jurojin as a trusted application.
2. Add Firewall Exceptions for Jurojin's Servers
In Bitdefender's Firewall settings, add exceptions for the following addresses:
jurojinpoker.comapi.backend2.jurojinpoker.com
3. Restart Your PC
After making these changes, restart your PC before opening Jurojin again — some Bitdefender settings only take effect after a reboot.
If you have a moment, you can also submit a false positive report to Bitdefender so they can whitelist Jurojin in future updates.
Still Having Issues? Detailed Fixes Below
Issue 1: Update Blocked
If you see a message saying the update was "blocked by one of your Poker Sites", this is Jurojin's generic message for an UnauthorizedAccessException — it doesn't necessarily mean a poker site caused it. Bitdefender's Antivirus is the most common culprit.
Add Jurojin as an exception in Bitdefender Antivirus:
- 1. Open Bitdefender
- 2. Click on the Protection tab
- 3. Open the Antivirus panel
- 4. Click on Settings
- 5. Click on Manage Exceptions
- 6. Click the Add an Exception button
- 7. Add the following path and toggle on all options (Antivirus + 3 sub-items, Online Threat Protection, Advanced Threat Defense):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Jurojin\JurojinUI.exe
- 8. Click Add an Exception again and add the folder as well, toggling on everything:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Jurojin
After adding both exceptions, try running the update again. If the update succeeds but Jurojin still can't connect, continue to Issue 2 below.
Issue 2: Unable to Connect — "Whoops!"
When Jurojin tries to reach our servers, Bitdefender's Firewall may automatically create a Deny rule for it. Here's how to fix that:
- 1. Open Bitdefender
- 2. Click on the Protection tab
- 3. Open the Firewall panel
- 4. Click on Rules
- 5. In the search bar, type jurojin — you should see
jurojinui.exeandlauncher.exe - 6. Click on jurojinui.exe to expand it. You'll see a table with columns for Network, Protocol, Traffic, Ports, IP, and Access.
- 7. If you have multiple rows in the table (Bitdefender can accumulate rules from older Jurojin versions), delete all rows except the last one — the last row is the newest rule and the one with Access toggled off.
- 8. Once only one row remains, toggle Access to Allowed.
You don't need to change anything for launcher.exe. Restart Jurojin and it should connect successfully.
